He regularly performs, tours and records with the 19 year-old New Stories trio he formed with two other prominent NW artists, pianist Marc Seales and bassist Doug Miller. They were the featured act at the 1993 JVC Jazz Festival in Vladivostok, Russia; they've shared the stage with Tom Harrell, Branford Marsalis, Jon Faddis and Larry Coryell among many others; and from their 4 critically acclaimed recordings, their music has been featured in Microsoft's Windows XP Operating System and on a Universal Music release entitled "Repertoire: A Starbuck's Collection of Unforgettable Piano Jazz"
